Leonardo Martins
Architectural Junior Project Manager
From beautiful Brazil to Charleston’s coast, Leonardo brings a unique global perspective to Coastal Creek Design’s residential projects. His story is one of continuous growth, adaptability, and dedication to turning dreams into reality.
Before joining our team, Leonardo ran his own successful architectural firm in Brazil, designing everything from homes to McDonald’s restaurants. But a deeper calling brought him to Charleston – a desire to grow professionally and personally while serving the community through his church.
“I understand that each project isn’t just about buildings – it’s about creating spaces where life happens,” Leonardo shares. “My role isn’t to impose ideas but to guide clients in transforming their dreams into blueprints.”
What makes Leonardo unique is his ability to bridge cultures and perspectives. He’s successfully adapted to American architectural standards (yes, including the adventure of converting from meters to inches!) while pursuing his Master’s in Project Management. This commitment to learning, combined with his international experience, helps him bring fresh ideas to every project.
At Coastal Creek Design, Leonardo co-leads our architectural team, managing projects from initial concept through final approval. He’s particularly skilled at navigating complex requirements from various boards and commissions while keeping projects on track and clients informed.
When he’s not crafting beautiful home designs, Leonardo enjoys exploring America’s national parks and playing volleyball. His goal? To visit every national park in the United States – though for now, he’s busy helping Charleston residents create their dream homes.
