Paola Suarez

Blending artistic talent with architectural precision, Paola brings a unique perspective to Coastal Creek Design’s As Built Department. Graduating as an architect at just 19 years old in Venezuela, she followed this achievement with a specialist degree in civil works construction, graduating with honors even during the challenges of the pandemic.

At Coastal Creek Design, Paola plays a crucial role in the foundation of every project. As our As Built specialist, she meticulously documents existing structures, creating detailed floor plans, roof plans, and structural elevations that serve as the blueprint for transformations to come. Her keen eye for detail and artistic background – having run her own hyperrealistic drawing business “Musarte” – brings an exceptional level of precision to her technical work.

“Every project is a different world,” Paola explains. “Each house tells its own story through its construction methods and architectural details. Capturing these elements accurately is essential for the success of any renovation or addition.”

One of her most memorable projects at Coastal Creek Design involved documenting a complex property on Middle Street, where she spent over four hours carefully recording every architectural detail to ensure perfect precision in the final plans.

Paola’s passion for classic architecture drew her to Charleston, whose historic downtown embodies the architectural traditions she and her family have long admired. When she’s not creating detailed architectural documentation, Paola expresses her creativity through charcoal and graphite drawings, specializing in realistic portraits of people and animals. She also shares a love for Viking culture and music – a passion inherited from her late father, whose academic achievements and love for learning continue to inspire her professional journey.
